Puppy Wellness

Frenchy at a yoga class

At Puppy Popups, our love for puppies is matched only by our commitment to their care and wellbeing. Whether you're attending a Puppy Yoga session or visiting one of our private events, you can feel confident that our standards are rooted in compassion, responsibility, and respect—for both our pups and our participants.

🐶 Puppy Wellness Comes First

We partner exclusively with trusted, ethical breeders and licensed organizations who prioritize the health and social development of their puppies. Every pup you meet in our sessions is:

  • At least 7 weeks old, meeting all vaccination and developmental requirements.
  • Healthy and vaccinated, with age-appropriate vet checks and preventative care.
  • Well-socialized, having spent time with people and littermates in safe, enriching environments.
  • Gently monitored, with sessions kept short and cozy to ensure they’re never overwhelmed or overstimulated.

We keep a close eye on each puppy throughout every event. If they show signs of tiredness or need a break, they’re given space to rest and recharge. Their happiness and comfort are our top priority.

🧘 Our People & Program Standards

We believe magic happens when you combine wellness, mindfulness, and wagging tails. That’s why we ensure:

  • Clean, safe, puppy-friendly spaces, sanitized before and after every session.
  • Qualified, puppy-savvy staff on site to guide both participants and pups.
  • Class sizes that respect puppy needs, so no puppy ever feels overwhelmed.
  • Plenty of breaks and hydration for both people and pups during events.
  • Class duration that gives them plenty of rest and isn't too stressful. We keep class length to sixty minutes for the puppies.
  • Not too many classes per day so they don't get too tired. No more than four.

💛 Ethical. Intentional. Joyful.

We don’t just “use” puppies—we work with them, creating enriching experiences that help them grow confident and calm. Our goal is to provide a joyful environment that supports their transition to forever homes while bringing peace and delight to every participant. Like the American Kennel Club says, "It's important for dogs to meet new people, places, and situations" and that has positive, long-term benefits for the dogs.

Whether you’re stretching into downward dog with a doodle on your mat or attending one of our other popup events, you’re helping raise happy, healthy, well-adjusted dogs.
